In 2021, Heidi was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which was unexpected and an extremely difficult time for her and the family. Therefore, as a team, we are taking part in The May 50K 2024 and leaving our limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into MS.
MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.
