I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

My journey

I was diagnosed with MS 5 months after my daughter was born. I am a lucky one - fast diagnosis and I’ve started on the best treatment. And that is all thanks to MS research. I’ve participated in research studies and will continue to. I’m going to try and move my body - something I did pre pregnancy and post pregnancy until diagnosis. I was super motivated to exercise when I was diagnosed but since starting work that has really taken a back seat. I’m hoping to do the May 50km… but I’m very mindful that life might get in the way and I might not quite get there in time. I hope that’s ok.
