My why…

May has rolled around again and it’s time for me to do my part and participate in the May50K for MS research. Last year, I took part in this fundraiser and was overwhelmed by the support I received from family, friends and colleagues during this time, and throughout the past 12 months. In 2023, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I am so grateful to all the support I have received, from the doctors, neurologists, nurses, all that helped me navigate the beginning of my diagnosis. To my work, friends and family who have been through every emotion with me and support my needs no matter what. I am so grateful. And most importantly, I am grateful that I was provided treatment early on, that was only made possible through the research and funding behind MS. Without this, I do not know what I would be doing (or able to do) today. I will be eternally grateful for this, and will do all I can to give back and keep the movement going to fund research, and hopefully one day, kick MS in the ass for good!
