My Story 💜
I've signed up for The May 50K to walk 70km this May to raise funds for research into multiple sclerosis. I was diagnosed with MS in June 2020. My initial symptoms were numbness and pins and needles in my hands followed by a vibration feeling in my legs. I am still on the journey of accepting that MS is now apart of my life and the uncertainty of MS but I am taking it one day at a time. I have had a challenging time lately with experiencing vertigo almost on a daily basis which made me feel really anxious. I will be having an MRI early May to check for any changes. I wasn’t ok which was hard to admit but with the love and support of family and friends, I know I will be ok. I am proud of the inner strength I have grown with each challenge I have faced with having MS. I named the team Miss MS because she is a part of me and to let her know she is loved. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone of you for the support and love - it means the world to me 💜🥰
