Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

This month, we are running a combined 100km to raise money for important research into the prevention, treatment and search for a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Given we’re both known more as food eaters and wine drinkers than pavement bashers, only a cause close to our hearts would entice us to take part in such a venture of our own free will. For us that is Leah’s sister-in-law Grace, mother to Leah’s two young nephews, who was recently diagnosed with MS in her early 30s. While it may not impact Grace and her family materially yet, it inevitably will later in life without fundraising initiatives such as these.

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.
