Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!

My Updates

Goal nearly achieved! πŸ™Œ

Have been a little slack on the blog posting but I have really been enjoying having a goal to work towards for such a worthy cause and I've nearly achieved that goal (1.2kms to go)! Jogging and bike riding in the mornings has been so positive! Being out in the elements and surrounded by the beautiful wildlife and livestock along the way is a wonderfully freeing feeling. I am also blown away by and so grateful to all the people who have supported me with donations and words of encouragement. πŸ™β€ Here is a helmet pic post 9.2km bike ride this morning, 17th May! Still using my son's bike...and helmet. πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ˜†πŸ˜…

Day 6 & 7

Rest day on Sunday (Day 5). 😌

Day 6:Β
Started with a 3km run, followed by a 3km bike ride. A liberating feeling riding with the music in my ears, the 'wind in my hair' πŸ˜† and fog all around. Feel like my fitness is improving. πŸ€— Kept an eye on my magpie friends though... they do like a good swoop! πŸ˜…Β

Day 7:Β
A row of beautiful Gumtrees on our property nestles in amongst low lying cloud as peaceful cows line the background. Ethereal beauty surrounds me for this morning's jog. πŸŒ±β˜οΈπŸ„πŸ’š

Day 3 & 4

Day 3:
Just a quick bicycle 🚲 ride. Was really quite an awesome experience riding in heavy fog early morning. Although, I rode my son's bike which I quickly realised the handlebars require tightening! So, that took a bit of adapting to and was a little... wobbly. πŸ˜…Β

Day 4:Β
An absolutely stellar morning for Parkrun with my friend, Emma. The course in Mount Gambier is up at the magnificent Blue Lake. A very inspiring event where everyone is so supportive of one another! πŸ’™ Grateful for my more seasoned runner friend, Emma, encouraging me to push limits!!

Day ✌

Day ✌ of chipping away at 50k. My little legs are slightly confused by what is happening, but we're up for the challenge. πŸ˜…
