Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!

My Updates

Beating the rains

last short walk for the month a favourite! little bit of drizzle but refreshing, big congrats to all participants we all gave it a good go. 👏👍

Jamberoo trek

What a great day for World MS day and what better way to spend it than doing a 7.5k walk out to Jamberoo with my friend Col and being rewarded with a nice cold beer and a meal with our wives 😃

Short harbour walk

A short walk with my wife this awesome morning, big walk coming up Thursday that will bust my 80ks goal 😃

Barren grounds trek

Great walking in bush surrounds, the air is always fresher, some parts of the walk were rugged but the views were worth it 😄

No photo walk 🙄

Got my wife to drop me off at Kiama High School where I help out with the Yr8 Boys Strength Program where we try to instil the characteristics of Significance (self worth) Resilience (the ability to bounce back) and Courage (Man, Male and Respect) so after our time with the young guys I walked the 4.1ks back home, I had some interesting conversations with people including Owen who had assisted me after a Boneyard surfing incident, then a young woman doing maintenance at the local NSW Fire & Rescue she was an SES Volunteer as I had been for 16yrs unfortunately she had just been diagnosed with MS and was happy to know that I was doing this walk for my son and her, I then had a quick visit to Kiama SES Unit to see Josh, Jake and Alex just some of the great people that volunteer in this community, then met a nice guy Gary who was jogging up the hill, enjoying his conversation until we went our separate ways, walking for a cause opens up lots of discussion and hopefully support 😀

Shortest walk yet

A short walk with my wife this afternoon, getting ready for a big walk Thursday, I'm very encouraged by all the amazing participants.
