Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!

Story Behind The Story

People ask me why are you fundraising for MS? Do you know someone who has MS? No I don’t know someone with MS and why because I want to. From talking about fundraising for MS I have realised how common it can is. This is from talking to people at work, staff at Bunnings(yes that’s right!) and people you meet out walking. They either have a family member, friend or know someone who has MS. Today I was speaking to a lady out walking her dog who I have run into a few times on my way to work. She said her dog gets a bit excited most probably of your backpack are you training for something? Now my backpack is 65L. I happen to say that I’m fundraising for MS and taking part in The May 50K and I keep my work stuff in it and I take in treats into work to help fundraise. She asked me if I knew someone with MS and I said no I don’t. She went onto say that she lost her sister to MS last year. Her sister had decided that she wanted to die by euthanasia. She went on to say that her sister passed away in July before the law was passed away. This got me thinking today and has had an affect on me and I’m glad that I’m taking part in The May 50K like so many are and take part in other events raising funds for MS.
